About this tool

Choose a plain vector SVG, match its red cut strokes, blue score strokes and black fills to your machine settings, then review the estimated duration and machine-time cost. Processing stays in your browser.

What this tool does

Analyse red cutting strokes, blue scoring strokes and black filled areas.
Set mm/second or mm/minute; switching units converts the current speed values.
Adjust passes, line interval, scan direction, overscan and bidirectional or unidirectional fill.
Include rapid travel, overhead and a vector slowdown allowance.
Calibrate the estimate against a known LightBurn job duration.
Calculate a machine-time price from a GBP hourly rate.
Machine settings are saved in this browser; uploaded SVG files are not stored.
Access

Free to start. More when you need it.

Use the core tool directly, with additional account features available where shown.

Active membership or granted access

Required for uploading SVGs and running any calculation. Visitors can read this page and view the locked workspace.

Use plain SVG paths and shapes. Convert text to paths and flatten clones, clipping, masks and effects. Raster images, stylesheets, external resources and scripts are rejected.

Maximum input: 5 MB, 5,000 elements and 3,000 mm per axis. Curves and compound paths use sampled length estimates.

Use pure red (#ff0000), blue (#0000ff) and black (#000000). Near-red/blue and dark fills are grouped by colour thresholds; unrelated colours are ignored and reported.

The result is an estimate, not a LightBurn or machine-controller simulation. Acceleration, cornering, controller optimisation and machine-specific delays are not modelled exactly.

Large fills use reduced sampling and display a notice. Overscan is a percentage of each active scan span.

The four time cards are separate contributions; rapid movement is counted only in the rapid card.

Use a known job to calibrate; a single calibration is not a guarantee for other designs.

Hourly cost covers machine time only, excluding materials, labour, tax and profit. No cut file or machine commands are generated.

SVG contents stay in this browser tab. Membership checks send no SVG data. Closing or refreshing loses the current file.
